First off, you will need to install Eclipse on your operating system. The simplest of these installs is for the windows operating system because Google have provided a pre-configured Android development environment for us to use. It integrates the Android Developer Tools into Eclipse so you can get programming right away.
Before we start installing Eclipse you should be aware that Eclipse requires the Java runtime environment is installed before using Eclipse. Make sure you have the Java runtime environment installed at least version 6 or above. It can be downloaded from the Oracle web site. Make sure that you select the correct version for your operating system and the correct 32 or 64 bit version.
